How the Calculator Engine Works
Clever Dash Set v1.3 contains ten dedicated calculation modules, each purpose-built for a specific construction material or system. The brick and mortar calculator accepts wall dimensions in metres, wall thickness (half-brick, single-brick, or double-brick), and standard or custom brick sizes — then outputs exact unit counts and mortar volume. The concrete mix module maps your pour volume against industry-standard ratios to return cement bags, sand weight in kilograms, gravel volume in cubic metres, and water in litres simultaneously.
Project Tracker and Budget Logic
The Projects module stores multiple renovation jobs in parallel. Each project holds a task checklist, a live budget dial showing spend versus total allocation (for example 500.00 USD against a 4,000.00 USD cap), and a colour-coded room category. Progress rings update as tasks are ticked off, giving a percentage view of completion state. All project data is stored on-device — no account, no sync, no data charge.
Unit Converter and Mix Timers
The converter handles length, area, volume, and weight between metric and imperial, with construction-specific units like board-feet and cubic yards included. Quick-reference tiles display the four most common conversion factors (1 ft = 0.30 m, 1 m = 3.28 ft, etc.) for fast field checks without typing. The Mix Timers section carries preset countdowns for concrete initial set, mortar open time, and grout cure — each with background notifications that fire even when the phone screen is off.
